Your Burning Questions
We had a great call last week answering your questions
about creating the results in your life that you want. The
number 1 question was, "Why is what I'm doing not
working?" I spent a lot of time on the answer. If you
weren't on the call, you can listen here - until Feb 15.

The Last Year
It's looking like 2008 will be the last yeat that I'll be selling the highly discounted copies of all of Bob Proctor's programs. I've been able to get them on consignment from various facilitators that Proctor has trained, but the supply is drying up. This material has changed many people's lives, including mine, and if you want to make a big change in YOUR fortunes in 2008, you'll want to get some of these programs and start studying. Learn how to align with the Universal Laws, set and achieve goals, build a powerful self-image, make decisions, become successful in sales and much more. Get the products you want, at low prices that won't last, here:
You Don't Have To Participate!
"Never speak of the times as being hard or of
business conditions as being doubtful. When
others are having hard times and poor business
you will find your greatest opportunities."
- - Wallace Wattles
Here in the USA we're going through an unusually
large amount of gloom and doom talk. The fear of
recession is in the air, and the political candidates
are making the most of it. So let me give you the
most important information there is about recessions.
You don't have to participate!
See, there's something to be grateful for, right here in
the start of this newsletter!
Start by not filling your thoughts with the gloom and
doom. Turn off the TV and read something positive,
like "Science of Getting Rich." Be aware that, as
Wattles said in the quote above, you can find your
greatest opportunities when everyone else is cutting
back.
Here's why - we live in a rich and abundant universe
and there are always opportunities. In so-called "hard
times" you with your creative mindset are likely to be
the only one looking for them!
Psychology, spirituality and cutting-edge neuroscience
all tell us that our mind will usually not see things that
we are not looking for. There's a part of our brain
specifically designed to filter stuff out, and it will. So by
knowing that opportunites are there and specifically
looking for them, you put your mind on the hunt and it
will find them.
Now what happens if you happen to be in work that is
specifically affected by a recession? Like real estate
or mortgages, for example? You have two options.
First, avoid the gloom and doom thinking and remember
the people are still buying houses and getting mortgages.
Provide confident, excellent service and expect clients.
You can create what you want.
Your second option is to see this as an example of what
Wattles calls "the shifting tide of opportunity" and look
for other areas to use your skills. I know a man, very
talented in sales, who used this option to move smoothly
from providing mortgages to providing mortgage related
insurance for families. Since his clients already own
homes he's not affected by the current turmoil. He looked
for an opportunity, and it found him.
Sometimes "the shifting tide of opportunity" wipes out
careers and you must change. If you repair typewriters
(remember them?) or your factory closes, it's an
opportunity to step up to life at a higher level. Some
choose to complain, others look for opportunity.
You may be affected by outside events, but you are
NEVER a victim! Unless you volunteer, of course.
Victor, or victim. Only one letter difference, but what
a difference in your life. It's your choice to make.
Being a victor means that you must be open to more
than just the same old stuff. If you have tunnel vision
that limits your opportunities you'll likely miss the
best ones - the ones that do ask you to grow,
expand and express yourself at a higher level.
Follow your heart, and be courageous. Life will never ask
more of you than you can handle, and great joy can be
found right outside your comfort zone. This is great to
remind yourself at any time, recession or not.
So the next time you hear recession talk, just say "Count
me out! I'm just not going to participate." You'll be grateful
you did.
In gratitude,
Wes
